The magical, magnetic Comeragh Mountains and the surrounding coastal hinterland in Waterford will be an absolute hive of activity, devilment and fun all this weekend as the annual Comeraghs Wild Festival kicks off this evening (Thursday).

The four day festival includes an open air concert featuring Don Mescall and the amazing Mount Sion Choir deep in the mountains and at the foot of Mahon Falls on Friday, July 12, starting at 8pm.

On Sunday, locally-based Dale Haze takes to the stage with Gina & The Champions for a Showbands Special in Kilmacthomas where the band first performed together 40 years ago this year. The open air concert also includes Ronan Collins, Brass & Co and local band, Room 55.

The community-focused event celebrates all that is special, authentic and unique about the Comeragh Mountains, Copper Coast, Nire Valley and the surrounding Waterford region.
