Cocaine worth €12,000 seized in Waterford
On the Wednesday 5th March, Gardaí on mobile patrol observed a minor road traffic offence by a motorist in Waterford city.
They stopped the vehicle under section 109 RTA 1961 as amended and following a search of the vehicle a significant amount of suspected cocaine was discovered in the car estimated value €12,000.
A follow-up search under warrant was carried out at the driver’s home where a further amount of suspected cocaine was seized.
Investigations are ongoing.
