The former Cartamundi factory in Waterford is for sale with a guide price of €17.85m.
The company announced its decision to close the plant earlier this year.
Agent CBRE is guiding a price of €17.85 million for the former Cartamundi Ireland production facility located in the IDA Industrial Estate on the Cork Road.
The property extends to 22,914 square metres and incorporates ancillary office accommodation of 1,023sq m.
The facility sits on a secure, self-contained site of thirteen acres with three acres of this undeveloped, which, according to the agent, offers potential purchasers the opportunity to expand via a large yard at the building’s gable end or to extend the existing warehouse section of the facility.
Stephen Mellon of CBRE says the facility offers an opportunity for owner-occupiers and investors to secure a high-profile fully serviced property with room for expansion.
The company announced in March that it was shutting down its operations in Waterford, resulting in the loss of 234 jobs.
