A search operation was carried out today in Waterford, Cork and Limerick by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
The operation was targeting a person involved in the provision of building services and unlicensed security services to the construction industry.
CAB with the assistance of the Garda Armed Support Unit carried out nine searches across the three counties.
They included four residential premises, one business premises and three professional premises, including an accountants, an architects and a motor dealership.
A 181 registered Audi Q7 SUV was seized along with a Rolex watch, electronic storage devices, paperwork and involves relating to business, and financial documents.
CAB says this is one of a number of ongoing investigations by the bureau relating to the extortion of monies for the provision of building services and unlicensed security services.
