A Waterford hotelier is hopeful of a busy season ahead but is wary of the escalating events in the Middle East. Tina Darrer from Dooley's Hotel says the tourism market here still relies on visitors from Europe, UK, and the US along with domestic tourists. Speaking on The Hot Desk with Mary O'Neill, Tina says you never know what is coming around the corner but is hopeful of a positive season ahead...   "It is always challenging, you never know whats around the corner. we are all holding our breaths seeing what is going on in the middle east." "We are looking at US travel numbers and they look strong but you never know what is coming around the corner." "But we are used to the uncertainty, we have had covid and we have had foot and mouth and we just hold our breaths and hope for the best."
