TFI Local Link Waterford is enhancing bus services between Tramore and Dungarvan, from Monday the 19th of August.
This enhancement is part of the Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan which is a major national public transport initiative developed and funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) as part of the Transport for Ireland (TFI) Network.
Route 367 will now operate four daily return services between Tramore and Dungarvan.
The enhanced route will offer a new Sunday schedule and evening services, along with providing connectivity to regional bus services and to Davitt’s Quay.
The route will also improve connectivity to villages and areas such as Summerhill, Clairin Wood, Fenor, Annestown, Dunhill, Kill, Bunmahon, Stradbally and Ballinroad.
Speaking ahead of the launch, TFI Local Link Waterford Manager James O’Donoghue said: “As part of our ongoing commitment, in partnership with the NTA, to enhance public transport services in County Waterford I am delighted to announce the expansion of our Tramore to Dungarvan service.
“I am confident the addition of later evening services from Tramore and Dungarvan will be well supported by local communities along the route. This is a significant enhancement of the service, which will now operate seven days per week including Bank Holidays.”
