Waterford will be well represented at Bord Bia Bloom in Dublin with over 100,000 visitors expected over the course of the event.
Running until Monday, a total of 22 small, medium, and large show gardens and features will be on show.
Five of the entries are from Waterford, including Joe Kelly from Dungarvan.
Speaking to WLR News, he says he is delighted to be moving on to bigger things.

"I'm bringing my garden UFO and country garden up to the Phoenix Park. The UFO has been making a number of appearances around the place. It's time to bring it on to better places and I've had the idea of bringing it up to Bloom since 2020. I love gardening and love the outdoors, to get this opportunity is brilliant and I'm really looking forward to it."
