The body of a woman has been recovered off the coast of Co. Galway.
Today marks the 11th day of rescue operations in an effort to locate Máire Ní Fhátharta.
The 32-year-old was one of two people reported missing on November 12th from Silverstrand Beach in Galway.
The remains of songwriter Johnny Duhan were recovered from the water shortly afterward.
The Coast Guard Rescue 115 helicopter, stationed in Shannon, spent a large portion of the afternoon conducting a scan of Galway Bay.
The body has been removed from the water and is en route to University Hospital Galway for a post-mortem examination.
