Waterford Fire Services tackle two blazes overnight

Fire services in Waterford were called to the scene of two separate gorse fires last night.

The fire service in Waterford were called to Ballinakill River Suir walkway at approximately 8pm.

Meanwhile, crews from Kilmacthomas were tasked to Tankardstown on the Copper Coast at 10pm following reports of a ditch fire.

The cause of both fires is unknown at this time but both blazes were brought under control.
