Gardai in Tramore are investigating a break-in at a GAA club in Co Waterford.
Over one thousand euro worth of gym equipment was stolen from the Ballyduff Lower club.
The theft occurred between Tuesday evening after training and Wednesday morning.
John O'Leary is chairman of the club, he says the players were devastated when they made the discovery:
"It leaves a sour taste in the mouth of the club, because it was the players themselves who organised the purchase of the equipment and they say the importance of it. They got together and it's something maybe that doesn't happen the whole time, but it's players taking ownership and responsibility of their own club.
"As club chairman I'm very very disappointed by this outcome."
