Planning permission is being sought for additional apartments in Ballybeg, with an initial number having already been granted planning permission.
Conditional planning permission was granted by Waterford City & County Council on October 15th last for another five apartments - with Dalira Limited having initially been granted planning permission for 45 apartments at Ballybeg Drive in Kilbarry on January 22nd 2020.
Newly submitted plans which were lodged on January 22nd 2025 seek modifications to the previously granted planning applications at this site.
The proposed development will consist of an additional two 2- bedroom apartments on the third floor and the construction of an additional three apartments on the fourth floor that includes one 1-bedroom apartment, one 2- bedroom apartment and one 3-bedroom apartment, increasing the total number of apartments from 50 to 55 apartments in the development.
A decision is due from the local authority on or before March 18th 2025.
