Gardaí in Waterford appeal for information following an assault on a woman

Gardaí in Waterford are investigating an assault on a woman which took place in the early hours of Sunday, September 15th.

They're looking to speak to a taxi driver who it's believed picked up the woman and the male suspect.

He picked up the pair from Manor Street and dropped them in the Skibbereen Road area between 02:40am and 3.05am on Sunday morning.

Officers say the taxi driver was driving a black taxi.
