Planning permission is being sought for 51 homes in Ardmore.
It comes as locals in the area have once again spoken out on the shortage of accommodation in the village.
Businessman and developer Michael Ryan is seeking to construct 51 homes on lands in the Duffcarrick area of Ardmore.
The development would consist of two detached 4-bed bungalows, 5 detached two-storey 4-bed houses, nine pairs of semi-detached 3-bed houses, and several two-storey terraced homes.
Planning permission is also sought for all associated site works, connections to services, and a new entrance off the existing R673 Dungarvan Road.
A pedestrian access point is also sought to the existing right of way onto Ardmore Beach.
The application was submitted to Waterford City and County Council on December 15th, 2023.
