Permission was granted to Noel Frisby Construction Limited in October of this year.
10 submissions in respect of the development were received, including a submission from the Deerpark Residents Association.
The development will consist of 79 apartments to be divided across three blocks ranging from 3 to 5 stories in height.
Submissions were made opposing the development stating concerns about the construction of apartments as opposed to housing, as per the original development plan.
Additionally, concerns were flagged over the potential violation of privacy laws, and the impact on natural light, traffic management, and safety.
The Residents Association has requested that the plan to proceed with the construction of apartments be reverted to the original plan to construct houses in Deerpark in Williamstown.
A decision is expected to be made by An Bord Pleanala on or before April 2nd of next year.
