An announcement in relation to tender documents for a major development at SETU’s Cork Road campus is expected shortly.
That’s according to An Taoiseach Simon Harris who was speaking to WLR in Dungarvan yesterday.
The tender process for the SETU development is currently being evaluated by government - but the Taoiseach says a decision is imminent.
"We're going to continue to invest in the South East Technological University," he told WLR News.
"And I hope to have good news on PPE Bundle 2 imminently."
In April, WLR reported that a tender from the last remaining consortium in the PPP Bundle 2 process for the SETU Cork Road Campus had been received and was being evaluated by the Department of Further and Higher Education, in collaboration with the Department of Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform.
