It will be hard to beat the eggs-traordinary feature in Dungarvan this Easter!
A decorative egg in chirpy colours has been laid in Grattan square, as part of ‘Dressing Dungarvan’ organised by Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber and supported by Waterford Council. The egg-citing feature is created by Every Event.
Unfortunately, Covid has rocked any traditional expectations of how we enjoy experiences and entertainment. The D&WW Chamber believes that positive promotion is especially important when morale may be low due to the long restrictive periods. This is a sensory, creative, attractive and safe experience which will provide some festive cheer for many.
Speaking about the project David Walsh Chamber President said:
"Knowing how much pleasure people get from our public realm and how we all enjoy our outdoor features, the D&WW Chamber, supported by Waterford Council wanted to add something colourful for Easter. We have a beautiful town centre where we can all enjoy fun and seasonal decorations, so we hope that this giant Easter Egg will give people a lift and something new to enjoy outdoors."
From Friday 2nd April for 10 days the giant egg will be available for photos and social media.
