Almost €24,500 has been raised at one event for St Vincent De Paul in conjunction with the WLR Christmas Appeal.
Mark White of Mark White Taekwondo and Fitness, was the man behind the fundraiser which took place in Tramore AFC on Saturday.
This included a range of signed jerseys, one of which was singed by Liverpool's Kenny Dalglish had a standing bid of €500.
Mark joined Damien on Déise Today this morning, announcing that €24,388.57 had been raised through various fundraisers.
Members of his gym conducted a bake sale and gathered money from sponsor cards.
The bake sale raised almost €1,000 while the sponsorship cards generated roughly €8,000.
The jersey auction brought in almost €2,000.
"I'm only a small link in the chain and without all the other links, it doesn't work so everyone deserves a big, big pat on the back," Mark said.
Last year, Mark raised a record €15,000 for St Vincent De Paul.
