
The first of this year’s parades is underway in Portlaw at 12 noon.
It’ll kick off from the the Church Car Park, Heading down Queen Street, Brown Street and finishing at the Square.

At 12:30 the action is away in Cappoquin starting at the Twig bog.
It’ll continue up the Main Street, up Shanbally Hill, before turning and finishing in the Square.

This year’s parade in Waterford City, which centres around ‘Colour, Culture and Community ‘ kicks off from outside Dooley’s Hotel at 1pm.
It’ll head down the Quay, onto the Mall and finishes at the Bishop’s Palace.
People are being encouraged to spread out along the route, and take adavantage of space on The Quay.

‘Save Our Seas’ is the theme for this year’s parade in Tramore.
It starts at the Cannonsfield carpark at the new time of 1:30pm, and will proceed down Main Street over the Church Road, down Galwey’s Hill before finishing at the Railway Station.

A half an hour later, at 2pm, the the last parade of the day takes place in Dungarvan.
It’ll be led out by the fire service and kicks off from Crotty’s Corner before heading through Sexton Street, over the Causeway, through Grattan Square and finishing on O’Connell’s Street.

Final preparations are continuing at Spraoi Headquarters ahead of St Patrick’s Day.
The Waterford street theatre company will have a presence in Cork, Dublin, Waterford and, for the first time in Kilkenny.
