A 14-year-old Waterford boy has been airlifted to Temple Street Children's Hospital following an accident last night.
The boy was airlifted by Waterford helicopter Rescue 117 from the Kill area shortly after 9pm.
It's believed he sustained a serious head injury following an accident whilst cycling his bike.
Gardai and the Bonmahon Coastguard Unit attended the scene last night to secure a landing site, which allowed the helicopter to make a landing at the Kill GAA pitch.
