Are you 60+ years of age? Have you any odd jobs that need to be done and are living in the Waterford area?
Waterford Area Partnership CLG in association with Age Action, Ireland’s leading charity for older people, is offering the Care & Repair Programme in your area. Our Care & Repair Programme uses a pool of trustworthy people to carry out minor repairs and odd jobs for older people who find it difficult to do these jobs themselves.
Some of the jobs that our staff can do include; installing security locks & chains, minor gardening, minor carpentry, installing smoke alarms, hanging curtains, changing light bulbs etc. All jobs are subject to a home survey visit by our Care & Repair staff.
The service is FREE; you only pay for the materials used.
All our staff are Garda vetted and carry official Age Action identification cards. To arrange to have a job done for you, simply call 051-844844 and we will arrange to have our Care & Repair staff visit you.
