Plans submitted for 96 houses and childcare facility in Waterford

There are plans to build a new housing estate, complete with childcare facilities on the outskirts of Waterford City.

Kingscroft Developments Limited has applied to the council to build 96 new houses at a site in the townlands of Bawndaw and Ballynamona on the Carrickpherish Road.

Eight of them would be bungalows, 69 would be two-storey, and 19 of them would be three-storey.

All of the houses would be a mix of two-bed, three-bed, and four-bed.

The childcare facility would be a one-storey building with a solar panel roof and a private outdoor play area.

A decision on the 96 houses and childcare facility is due by the 2nd of June.
