Dog rescued after 71-foot plummet at County Waterford cliffs

The Tramore Cliff and Mountain Rescue team assisted in the rescue of a Jack Russell dog named Josie yesterday evening.
After 4:30pm on St Patrick’s day, the rescue team were tasked by Gardaí to assist in the rescue of a Jack Russel dog named Josie.
Josie was out for a walk with her owner along the cliffs of Annestown Co Waterford when she fell down the cliff 72 feet to the bottom.
However she miraculously survived the fall and members of the rescue team were able to abseil down the cliff, and bring Josie back to the cliff top to her grateful owner Halley Flood.
