This year’s Waterford Business Awards take place on Friday, 8th March in the Tower Hotel Waterford, where over 30 businesses from across Waterford City and County will be recognised for their excellence in a variety of categories, from Customer Service and Retail Excellence, to Entrepreneur of the Year and Excellence in Corporate and Social Responsibility. Each day on Déise Today on WLR, a different category is featured, with interviews with the shortlisted businesses airing across the show. Today’s category is New Business of the Year sponsored by Waterford Local Enterprise Office. The winner, chosen by an independent panel of judges, will be announced at the Waterford Business Awards gala ceremony in The Tower Hotel Waterford on Friday, 8th March.

Everett’s Restaurant opened its doors at 22 High Street in April 2018. Head Chef Peter Everett, a Waterford native, was thrilled to come home to set up his first restaurant business. Peter, a winner of the Eurotoques Young Chef of the Year competition, has learned his trade in Michelin starred, award winning restaurants.
