Our next category of for the 2019 Waterford Business Awards to be featured on air and online is Food and Beverage, sponsored by PwC. The winner, chosen by an independent panel of judges, will be announced at a gala ceremony in The Tower Hotel Waterford on Friday, 8th March.

CHIA BIA

Chia Bia is one of Europe’s leading supplier of high-quality chia seeds. Established in 2009 and based in Tramore, Chia Bia celebrates 10 years of supplying high-quality retail, bulk and foodservice products worldwide. Chia Bia also provides private label opportunities in their BRC accredited facility. The product range includes Whole, Milled, Chia Fruit Mixes and Sachets. In October 2018 the health food company opened its onsite café bia+brew. With local being a major focus for this new venture, coffee, breakfast and lunch offerings are an ultimate showcase of local Waterford Food producers.

Eunice’s passion for great food will also see her open a gourmet takeaway in Dungarvan in March.
