The Department of Health has confirmed that a further 25 people diagnosed with Covid-19 have died.
They were 11 females and 14 males.
23 patients were located in the east of the country and 2 were in the west.
16 patients had an underlying medical condition.
The median age of today’s reported deaths is 85.
288 people have now died from the virus in the Republic.
The HPSC has been informed of 480 new confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Ireland as at 1pm Friday 10th April.

There are 480 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 7,054.
There's now 60 confirmed cases in Waterford, as of midnight of Wednesday.
That's an increase of four of Tuesday.
