Four men appeared before a special sitting of Waterford District Court on Sunday evening charged in connection with an armed robbery at the Cleaboy Post Office in Waterford on Thursday.
37 year old Alan Wall, Conor O'Connor also 37 and Michael Tynan who is 34, all of no fixed abode, and 29 year old Barry Walsh from Thornberry Square in Clonee, Dublin 15, were charged with a single count of robbery.
The men were granted free legal aid by Judge Kevin Staunton and they were all remanded in custody.
The court heard that the men will make bail applications when they appear before the court again on Tuesday.
