
Several schools in Tramore have closed today due to a burst water main near Tramore Racecourse in Crobally.
With customers in Tramore, Butlerstown and surrounding areas may experience reduced pressure or outages while repairs are underway.
The fault was reported to Uisce Éireann, which expects water supply to return by around 3pm today.
As a result of the disruption, Holy Cross School and Glór na Mara Primary School and Ard Scoil na Mara have all closed for the day.
Educate Together Tramore and Gaelscoil Philib Barún are also remaining open for the time being.
Parents and guardians are advised to monitor updates from individual schools as the situation develops.
