Emergency services were called to a house in the village of Fedamore in Ballyneety after half 11 last night.
A 23-year-old woman was found injured after being attacked by a dog
She was treated at the scene but later pronounced dead.
It's understood a number of dogs were removed from the property.

Her body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick and a post mortem is expected to be carried out later today.
