Almost a thousand homes and businesses are without power on the outskirts of Dungarvan in Ballinroad this afternoon as Storm Francis passes over the country.
A further 400 customers are affected near Ardmore.
The ESB says crews are mobilised and all power should be restored today.

There are reports of several trees down in the Dungarvan area, on the Bog Road approaching Bushy Park and the Monang Road in Abbeyside.
