There's been a jump in the 14-day incidence rate of Covid-19 in Waterford, however, it continues to be one of the lowest in the country.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre reports that 47 cases have been confirmed here in the 14 days up to midnight on Wednesday.
That gives an incidence rate of 40.5 per 100,000 population and is up from 31.8 yesterday.
Leitrim now has the lowest rate at 34.3.
13 counties now have incidence rates above 100 which brings the national average to 128.2.
In Donegal, it has increased to 319.1.
Elsewhere in the South East, Wexford’s incidence rate has jumped to 80.1. That's followed by Tipperary on 57, Kilkenny remains on 51.4 and Carlow has dropped to 42.2.
299 cases were diagnosed across the South East from the 24th of September to the 7th of October.
The mean age is 41 and 127 cases are associated with clusters.
