Waterford FC manager Alan Reynolds is being strongly linked with a move to Dundalk.
The Lilywhites are keen to replace their assistant manager Ruaidhri Higgins who recently left the club to take up a role with the FAI underage structure.
Vinny Perth the Dundalk manager is a long time admirer of Reynolds and it is believed he spoke with the Tramore native yesterday regarding his availability to replace Higgins.
With massive uncertainty surrounding the future of Waterford FC and Reynolds disappointment with the manner in which he and his players were informed
that they were being laid off to due to Covid 19 it would not be surprising if Alan Reynolds decided to move to the LOI champions.
Dundalk will return to action later this month in a four team pilot tournament which also includes European bound teams Bohemians. Derry City and Shamrock Rovers.
