A 12-day road closure will come into effort for those living in the Knockenduff area of Tramore.

Effective from Monday, April 14th until Friday, April 25th, the L4059 will be closed to traffic.

Traffic travelling to and from Ballycarnane Woods housing estate via the R675 road will be facilitated by a stop/go system.

However, residents of Parklands, Cluain Larach and the Knockenduff road will not be able to use the L4059 to access the R675.

Traffic from these areas will be required to follow a diversion route via the Coast Road (R657) or the L4058.

According to Tony Kirwan Civil Engineering, the works are to facilitate the construction of a foul sewer.

The road is expected to be re-open on Saturday, April 26th.
