Gardaí are waiting to interview a woman in her forties, who is being treated in hospital, after the deaths of three children in County Dublin.
The bodies of 9 year-old Conor, 7 year-old Darragh and 3 year-old Carla McGinley were found in their home in Newcastle on Friday evening.
A woman was discovered at the scene and was admitted to Tallaght Hospital where she is in a stable condition.
Gardaí are waiting for the go ahead from doctors to question her.
Post mortem examinations have been completed but Gardai won't be releasing the results for operational reasons.
They're still awaiting the results of toxicology reports.
