Gardai detained 21 people for various offences ranging from Theft, Drugs, Burglary & Public Order on Tuesday last as part of Operation Storm.
Operation Storm is a high visibility targeted tactical deployment of all operational resources in the Waterford District designed to prevent crime, disrupt criminal activity, apprehend criminals wanted on warrant, enhance road safety and bolster good public relations through education and awareness over the course of one day.
Over 14 thousand euro of drugs and over 9 thousand euro in cash was seized in 4 searches.

15 warrants were executed and 12 people were taken into custody.
184 summons were served on 56 defendants
