Two people with COVID 19 were being treated in intensive care at University Hospital Waterford last night.
That's up from one on Saturday night.
The figures released by the HSE show a total of 10 confirmed cases of coronavirus on site.
Two other patients are awaiting test results.
There are 6 vacant critical care beds at UHW and 198 vacant general beds.
Elsewhere in the South East, there are also 10 confirmed cases at St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny, 5 in Wexford General and 2 at South Tipperary General Hospital.
7 patients are awaiting results in Wexford, 3 in South Tipp and 1 in Kilkenny.
As on midnight on Friday there were 112 confirmed cases in Waterford since the outbreak began. There were 98 in Wexford, 197 in Kilkenny, 71 in Carlow and 292 in Tipperary. Dublin with 7,379 accounts for more than half of all cases nationwide.
