As part of a feature series on Déise Today about how the pandemic has changed life, we want to hear from people about working from home.

There are a number of angles to this, so we're hoping to get as many contributions from listeners as possible.

WLR will respect your confidentiality, and the confidentiality of your employer at all times.

If any of the following scenarios applies to you, and you'd like to get in touch with us about it, you can email [email protected]

If you're an employee / self-employed:

  • Are you working from home either fully or in a hybrid capacity at present and want to keep that current arrangement? Is your employer happy with you doing that, or are you being told to come back?
  • Do you think employers need to be flexible about remote or hybrid working?
  • Did you have a commute prior to working from home? If so do you feel your lifestyle has improved without that daily travel?
  • Have you had unpleasant experiences working from home? Broadband issues, juggling childcare, social isolation?
  • Would you be interested in using a digital hub in your local area, by way of shared office space?
  • Are you someone who moved from another place to live in Waterford and work remotely? Do you still have the option of doing that, now that the restrictions have lifted?

If you're an employer:

  • Are you happy to adopt remote working for your staff?
  • Do you feel having staff back in the office works better?
  • Would you be willing to engage with staff about hybrid working models?
