Ed Sheeran fans are heading to the Capital in their droves this weekend as the pop star begins a run of sold out gigs, starting with Croke Park tomorrow.

The father-of-one then travels to Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on April 28th and 29th, Limerick on May 5th and 6th, and Belfast on May 12th and 13th.

Sheeran began his Irish performances  during the week, with an intimate gig at Whelan's in Dublin on Tuesday. He then played Vicar Street on Wednesday night.

The English man, whose grandparents hail from Wexford and Belfast, recently won a High Court copyright battle over his 2017 hit Shape of You after a judge ruled he had not plagiarised the 2015 song Oh Why by Sami Chokri.
