Waterford people are being invited to nominate their favourite bookshop as part of the An Post Bookshop of the Year 2022 competition.
The category is back for a second year in the An Post Irish Book Awards, which is the annual literary event that celebrates and promotes Irish writing to the widest range of readers possible.
The category was designed to acknowledge the significant role that independent and local branches of bookshops played in helping their communities during the pandemic.
Last year saw Kenny’s Bookshop in Galway crowned the overall winner.
"We really want bookshops from all over Ireland to be recognised and praised for the business acumen and creativity they implement every single day to reach and engage with different audiences," David McRedmond, CEO of An Post, said.
