An Ireland AM star has announced she is expecting her first child with her husband in a heartwarming social media post.

The TV personality shared the joyful news with fans, revealing that her family is set to grow from two to three.

The announcement featured a series of sweet photos, including a first glimpse of her baby bump, an ultrasound scan, and her husband proudly holding up a tiny pair of baby shoes.

Lara Battigelli, who married her husband Stephen Leddy in the romantic surroundings of Tuscany in summer 2024, marked the milestone with an emotional post that quickly drew an outpouring of congratulations.

The expectant mum is best known for her work as a chef on Ireland AM, becoming a firm favourite with fans of the morning show.

She is expecting her first baby with her other half, with the pair sharing the news alongside the caption: ‘Upgrading to Mom & Dad, September 2026.’

The content creator, who splits her time between County Cavan and London, has built a strong online following, with fans and friends quickly flooding the comments with congratulations.

Fellow Irish foodie influencer Alice Kelly wrote: ‘Ohhhh congrats Lara!! Such wonderful news.’

Presenter Katja Mia also added her well wishes, writing: ‘Congratulations!’ alongside a heart emoji.

Separately, it comes as an RTE star has also recently shared some baby joy, revealing that she and her husband are expecting.

Best known for her time as a co-host on the 2 Johnnies podcast, Maura Fay bid farewell to the Tipp lads back in July of 2024 as she took up a new role as a presenter on the Today Show with Claire Byrne (now David McCullagh).
