An Cailín Ciúin (The Quiet Girl) has already made an impact at the box office and is the first Irish-language feature to get an Oscar nomination.
The film, written and directed by Colm Bairéad and based on Foster by Claire Keegan, tells the story of a girl's summer with a foster couple, away from her dysfunctional family in 1980s Ireland.

The Oscars take place on Sunday evening in Los Angeles, which will be the early hours of Monday morning in Ireland.
If you plan on staying up and hosting your own Oscars party, there are a few options for watching the ceremony live and catching a glimpse at the many Irish faces.
The ceremony kicks off at 12am Irish time and will be available live on Sky Cinema this year. You'll be able to tune in if you have access to Sky Cinema or Sky Arts through a subscription or a NOW TV membership.
RTÉ2 will show highlights from the awards on Monday night at 9.30pm.
E! will also broadcast live from the red carpet starting at 5pm local time (approximately 10pm Sunday in Ireland).
US late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is hosting this year, marking his third time in the role.
Those presenting awards this year include Samuel L Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Melissa McCarthy and Emily Blunt, among others.
