WLR are delighted to welcome The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind Waterford Viking Branch as our 2023 Waterford Viking Marathon Charity Partner.
The Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind is Ireland's national charity providing Guide Dogs to those who are vision impaired and Assistance Dogs to the families of children with autism.
When registering participants will have the option to raise funds for our 2023 charity partner Irish Guide Dogs or a charity of their choice, be it one close to their heart or perhaps a local community group they are part of. Ollie and Dymphna from WLR'S Big Breakfast Blaa spoke to Edward McBride chairman of the Waterford Viking Branch and Elaine Johnson whose family have benefited from the charity and agreed to tell their story.
