Tonight The Great British Bake Off's white tent along with 12 new contestants will return to our screens.

At 8pm, the first round will see the amateur bakers face off in a bid to become Star Baker and win over Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

The lineup was announced two weeks ago and was deemed the most diverse line up to date.

The group of contestants sees a wide range of skills and ages. The oldest contestant is 60 year-old Dawn.

This year's hosts are Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding. The two, along with Paul and Prue, took to Twitter to remind everyone the Bake Off is back!

The competition will run for 10 weeks, during which the 12 competing will be windled down to just three.

Last year, almost seven million people watched Giuseppe Dell'Anno  be crowned as the Bake Off Winner. Giuseppe was the first Italian winner the show has seen.
