2025 is already shaping up to be a great one for gigs, with a number of massive international and Irish acts already announcing a series of events. Oliver Carroll from the Big Breakfast Blaa looks at his Top 10 gigs in 2025.
From Oasis to local favourites Spraoi and All Together Now it will be a jam-packed concert season with something for everyone.
Oasis
The boys are back, for now anyways!!!!! Oasis came together in Manchester, UK, in 1991. The original members included Liam Gallagher as Oasis' lead singer, his brother Noel Gallagher on guitar, Paul Arthurs (aka Bonehead) on guitar, Paul McGuigan (aka Guigsy) on bass, and Tony McCarroll on drums.

The Waterboys
Over seventy musicians have performed live as a Waterboy. Some have spent only a short time with the band, contributing to a single tour or album, while others have been long-term members with significant contributions. Mike Scott has been the band's lead vocalist, motivating force, and principal songwriter throughout the group's history. Always a great show.

Pitbull
Pitbull (also known as Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide), is bringing his Party After Dark tour to Dublin.
According to a biography the rapper had a reason for wanting to be known after a particular breed of dog.
“(Pitbulls) bite to lock,” the book quotes him as saying. “The dog is too stupid to lose. And they’re outlawed in Dade County (Florida). They’re basically everything that I am. It’s been a constant fight.”
He told CNN that he admires the tenacity of the breed.
