Today marks the first day of SprÓg, a children's festival packed with storytelling, messy play, slime, and more.
It runs from the 4th-9th of July and is suitable for children aged 0-12.
There are 47 free events taking place across the week. Co-ordinator Sandra Kelly says there will be one for all interests.
Tickets can be booked through the Garter Lane Arts Centre.
SprÓg is brought to Waterford by Garter Lane Arts, with funding from The Arts Council/Waterford City and County Council and is sponsored by Sanofi.
The festival is presented in conjunction with Waterford Central Library, WQC Cultural Quarter, Little Red Kettle, and Calmast and is supported by Sanofi.
