Iceland Ireland is launching an online shopping service, with Waterford the first county to go live.
The chain will have a national rollout in May.
A spokesperson for Iceland said the service has been designed to be "simple and easy for customers to navigate ensuring a positive online shopping experience."
Waterford shoppers can now get their Iceland groceries delivered the next day when orders are placed before 7pm.
The store will deliver to a 12km radius of its base at Boland Retail Park, Cork Road.
Iceland delivery, which specialises in frozen food, uses vans that are fitted with temperature-controlled technology.
Commenting on the launch, Mark Devereux, Iceland Ireland Area Manager, Waterford, said: We at Iceland Ireland are delighted to launch our new online shopping service! I know the team in Waterford are particularly proud that Waterford is the first county to go live as part of the national roll out. At Iceland, we are committed to offering our customers the very best shopping experience and the launch of our online delivery service is further evidence of this commitment."
