Adults in Ireland who have been bereaved by suicide are asked to share their experiences by completing an anonymous survey.
The Irish Suicide Bereavement Survey was launched in October by the National Suicide Research Foundation (NSRF) and Healing Untold Grief Groups (HUGG). This first-of-its-kind study aims to explore the experiences and support needs of adults who have been bereaved or affected by suicide in Ireland.
The survey is open to family and friends, as well as the wider circle of people who may have been affected by the death (such as emergency service staff, health professionals caring for the person, first responders to the death, neighbours or other members of the community who may have had contact with the person who died by suicide).
The survey remains open until the end of January, and if you are interested in participating, you can do so by visiting the HUGG website here.
On this webpage, you can find out more about the survey and view a detailed Participant Information Leaflet.
