Moncrieff Live at The Haven – “Maybe It’s Home” Shows
The Haven is proud to announce that we will host the “Homecoming” leg of Moncrieff’s Ireland, UK & Europe Tour with three very special shows at our newly built venue on 9, 10 and 11 December 2025.
These concerts mark the triumphant return of local hero Moncrieff to the South East, following a phenomenal year that saw him claim a Number 1 debut album in the Irish Charts with Maybe It’s Fine and headline two huge sold-out shows at Breakwater Festival in Wexford and The Docklands in Limerick earlier this summer.
For this extraordinary run of homecoming shows, The Haven will be completely transformed into an immersive celebration of Moncrieff’s roots. Expect relics and symbols of Waterford life — from photos of his first ever gig in Sal’s on the Quay to jerseys from his hurling days with De La Salle and Butlerstown. Fans will even be able to add their own memories to the story by pinning Polaroid photos and personal messages to a special wall inside the venue.
An Intimate & Unique Performance
Moncrieff promises a heartfelt and intimate show unlike anything he’s ever done before, with stripped-back performances on keys and guitar, accompanied by a string quartet. To honour his home county, he will also welcome a series of guest appearances from Waterford musicians across the three nights.
In addition, Moncrieff will professionally record the audio from these concerts for a forthcoming live release of Maybe It’s Fine – making these shows not just unmissable, but historic.
Moncrieff’s Breakthrough Year
Moncrieff’s 2025 debut album follows a series of acclaimed EPs and singles that have earned him millions of streams worldwide. He previously won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year with Warm and has stunned audiences with his electrifying live performances at major festivals including Lollapalooza Berlin and Electric Picnic.
Having written over 550 songs in six years, Chris Breheny (aka Moncrieff) has poured his energy and life experiences into Maybe It’s Fine. The record has been hailed for its raw honesty, edge, and grit, with the 30-year-old Tramore native exploring themes of masculinity, sexuality, and identity more openly than ever before.
“I am proud to say that Waterford is my home. I want to create an immersive and unforgettable experience that celebrates where I’ve come from and the people and places that have shaped me as a person and as an artist,” says Moncrieff.
