Waterford man Moe Dunford is the lead in an Irish movie that will air on Netflix from March 4th.
The streaming giant has acquired the rights to Nightride, directed by Stephen Fingleton and written by Ben Conway.
Dungarvan native Dunford will star alongside Joana Ribeiro in the real-time thriller, set on the midnight streets of Belfast.
The premise is that small time dealer Budge (Moe Dunford) tries to pull one last deal with cash borrowed from a dangerous loan shark. When the handover goes catastrophically wrong, Budge finds himself in a race against time to find his missing product and get a new buyer before the loan shark tracks him down.

Moe Dunford is in another Netflix film this month - he stars in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot for Legendary Entertainment which will premiere on February 18th. It's directed by David Blue Garcia and was filmed in 2020 in Bulgaria. It takes place years after the shocking events of the original and Leatherface hasn't been seen or heard of since. Dungarvan's Moe Dunford will star alongside Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade) Sarah Yarkin (Happy Death Day 2U), and Jacob Latimore (The Maze Runner). More here.
