According to an EU survey, Irish men are among the oldest in Europe to leave the family home.
Stats show that across the continent, women leave home at a younger age than their male counterparts with Irish men and women both older than average when it comes to flying the nest, at 29 and 27 years of age respectively.

Join Vinny and Aoibhin tomorrow from 6am on the Big Breakfast Blaa on WLR.
