Singer Paul Heaton is celebrating his 60th birthday by getting the drinks in at SIXTY pubs across Ireland and the UK.
The Beautiful South and Housemartins front man said his original intention was to visit 60 of his favourite pubs on a bicycle tour but recording commitments scuppered those plans.
Instead, Heaton has put money behind the bar at each of those establishments for fans to enjoy a free drink on him! Sound! A full list of the pubs – including local watering holes in Wexford, Tipperary and Kilkenny – are listed below.

Unfortunately, there’s no Waterford pub among the 60, despite Heaton’s visit to the city to play the Daytripper Festival in 2014 but Vinny and Aoibhin still agreed it’s one of the soundest gestures ever by a celebrity on this morning’s Big Breakfast Blaa! Have a listen…
